Your race director is me, I'm the guy pictured to the left here, my name is Ian Murray. I'm a triathlon coach based in Pacific Palisades, California and I'm putting on this race with the help of a lot of other great people. However, when it comes down to questions, they all fall solely on my busy shoulders. If you have a question that pertains to the LA-F1 events, I want you to get the answers you need and I ask you to use this system:

I'm really pleased that Los Angeles is able to offer a draft legal race for Youth and Junior triathletes. Here's some stuff about me that speaks directly to this event: USAT Level 3 Coach, ITU Level 2 Coach, Served as Head Coach for the US Team at ITU WCS Madrid 2009 and 2010, ITU Continental Cups in Vina del Mar, Chile and La Paz, Argentina in 2009 and Duathlon World Championships 2009. 2006 USAT Development Coach of the Year. Head Coach and one of the founders of the LA Tri Club. Head Coach at ~7 of the last USAT-SW Junior Select Camps. Former race director/co-owner of Strawberry Fields Triathlon.
